2. Scope

This Privacy Policy covers personal data processed in connection with:

  • this website hosted on Squarespace,

  • bookings via Acuity Scheduling (Squarespace Scheduling),

  • online lessons delivered via Zoom.

3. What we process, and what we can see

A) Website visits (Squarespace Analytics)

Squarespace provides site owners access to analytics. 

What we can see (depending on settings):

  • Aggregated analytics (e.g., overall traffic and engagement metrics). 

  • Activity Log (last 7 days): if enabled/available, Squarespace’s Activity Log shows individual page visits with details such as date/time, visited URL/page, referrer, browser/OS, and the visitor’s IP address. The Activity Log only covers the previous seven days. 

What we cannot see:

  • We do not see your real-world identity from browsing alone (unless you actively provide it, for example by booking or messaging).

  • We do not see what you do on other websites.

Important limitation: Squarespace states it is not possible to block specific IP addresses from the site via built-in tools. 

Purpose: website operation, troubleshooting, security, and abuse prevention (e.g., spam, attacks, scraping).

B) Messages you send (contact form / email)

If you contact us, we process the information you submit (e.g., name, email address, message content, attachments).

What we can see: the full content you send us.

C) Forms on the website (Squarespace Forms)

If you submit a form on the site, Squarespace can store the submission depending on the configured storage option(s). Squarespace notes that form submissions are not stored “in the block” itself, but via selected storage options. 

If a form requires an email field, Squarespace can add the submitter and the submission to the site’s Contacts / Form Details views. 

What we can see: your form submission data as stored in Squarespace and/or delivered to us by the configured storage option(s).

D) Bookings via Acuity Scheduling (Squarespace Scheduling)

When a client books through Acuity, they enter at least name, email address, and (optionally/typically) phone number, and we may use custom intake forms and agreements. 

Acuity also provides reporting tools for appointments. 

What we can see: booking details and any intake-form answers you submit, inside our Acuity account.

E) Online lessons via Zoom

Zoom processes data needed to host and run video lessons (meeting metadata, and audio/video if enabled). 

Recordings: lessons are recorded only with explicit agreement. Without clear prior consent, we do not record.

4. Cookies and consent (Squarespace)

Squarespace uses cookies and provides controls to:

  • display a cookie banner (including “Decline all” and “Manage cookies” options), 

  • restrict non-essential cookies, 

  • disable Activity Logging and disable Squarespace Analytics cookies via its privacy/cookie settings (options described by Squarespace). 

You can also control cookies via your browser settings.

5. Purposes of processing

We process personal data for:

  • operating and securing the website,

  • responding to inquiries,

  • scheduling and delivering lessons,

  • conducting online lessons,

  • preventing and documenting misuse (e.g., harassment, defamation, scraping, unauthorized reuse),

  • enforcing or defending legal claims where necessary.

6. Service providers and international data transfers

We use these providers:

  • Squarespace (hosting, site platform, forms, analytics) 

  • Acuity Scheduling (as part of Squarespace) 

  • Zoom (video lessons) 

These providers may process data outside Switzerland, including in the United States (depending on service configuration). Swiss law requires that you are informed when data is disclosed abroad. 

Squarespace publishes a Data Processing Addendum and states compliance with the Swiss–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. 

7. Retention

  • Squarespace Activity Log: up to 7 days (platform limitation). 

  • Messages, bookings, and lesson-related data: retained only as long as needed for service delivery, reasonable documentation/defense needs, and any applicable legal retention obligations.

8. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (access controls, account security, and encrypted connections where available). No internet transmission is completely risk-free.

9. Your rights (Switzerland)

Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, and (where applicable) data portability. Swiss law sets out the duty to inform and related rights.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy if tools or processing change. The version published on the website applies.
