Cancellation by the student
To cancel or reschedule without charge, please give at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time — directly through the link in your confirmation email, or by emailing lena@lenaruisz.studio.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, and no-shows, are charged at the full session rate. This applies regardless of the reason, with one exception: medical emergencies. If you are genuinely unwell and contact me as soon as you are able, I will always find a fair solution.
Studio Series sessions follow the same 24-hour rule per individual session. Unused sessions do not expire and may be rescheduled, but are not refunded if cancelled within the notice period.
Rescheduling
Any session may be rescheduled free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Each booking may be rescheduled a maximum of two times. After two reschedules, the session is forfeited or charged in full, regardless of notice given.
Technical problems
If a session cannot take place due to a technical failure on my side, I will offer a full reschedule at no cost. If the difficulty is on your side, the cancellation policy above applies — but I will always look for a practical solution before applying it strictly.
If a connection is poor but workable, we continue. If it is genuinely unusable, we agree together on whether to shorten, reschedule, or end the session.
Cancellation by the teacher
I cancel lessons very rarely. If I need to cancel, I will give as much notice as possible and offer a full reschedule. If a reschedule is not possible within a reasonable timeframe, you will receive a full refund for that session.
Gift sessions
Gift sessions follow the same cancellation policy. The recipient — not the purchaser — is responsible for the 24-hour cancellation notice.

The easiest way is through the link in your booking confirmation email. You can also email lena@lenaruisz.studio at any time. Please do not use social media messages for cancellations — I may not see them in time.

Stornierung durch die Teilnehmerin / den Teilnehmer
Eine kostenfreie Stornierung oder Verschiebung ist bis 24 Stunden vor dem vereinbarten Termin möglich — direkt über den Link in Ihrer Buchungsbestätigung oder per E-Mail an lena@lenaruisz.studio.
Bei Stornierungen mit weniger als 24 Stunden Vorlaufzeit sowie bei Nichterscheinen wird der volle Stundensatz in Rechnung gestellt. Ausnahme: Bei medizinischen Notfällen wird eine individuelle Lösung gefunden, sofern Sie sich so früh wie möglich melden.
Verschiebung
Jede Stunde kann bis zu zweimal kostenfrei verschoben werden, sofern die 24-Stunden-Frist eingehalten wird. Nach zwei Verschiebungen gilt die Stunde als verbraucht oder wird voll berechnet.
Stornierung durch die Lehrerin
Ich storniere Lektionen äusserst selten. Sollte es notwendig sein, biete ich einen vollwertigen Ersatztermin an. Ist dies nicht möglich, erhalten Sie eine vollständige Rückerstattung für die betroffene Stunde.
